I used to give this camera to my camera apprentices, but the pictures it took were so good that some even said it was a shame to give it to an apprentice!
There are many good things about this camera, but the best thing is that it can use the Zeiss lenses that CONTAX is famous for, and among them, the Biometar lens is the best. In medium format, 80mm is the standard lens, but this Biometar lens gives a soft and smooth depiction and beautiful background blur. I have used many medium format cameras, but personally, this is my favorite medium format camera.

What you need after arrival

To start shooting, please prepare one roll of 120 film.

*This medium format camera can also use 220 film❗️
220 is a film that can take twice as many pictures as 120 film.
Usually, medium format cameras only support 120 film, but this PENTACON
It has a switch lever for 220 film so it can be used!
120 film allows for 12 exposures, and 220 film allows for 24 exposures. However, since 220 film is no longer available, you will have to use expired film.
