The German Rolleiflex is famous for its medium format cameras, but in Japan, the most famous medium format camera is the Minolta Autocord, the greatest masterpiece of the Autocord series! The Type III is a must-have!
Personally, I find it to be one of my favorite medium format cameras because it has richer expression, better color reproduction, and a warmer feel than the Rolleicord 2.8.
And Autocord III models are rarely found in good condition.
Even if you search online, you will find that the lenses have mold or a bad appearance.
It would cost around 50,000 to 80,000 yen, and you would have to send it in for repairs, but this Type III is a single-owner that has been carefully stored in a humidity-controlled cabinet, so the exterior is in good condition, and the lens is unusually clean.
I also took some actual photos, and the results were amazing. The warm atmosphere is captured just as it is. It's truly the king of medium format cameras.

Medium format cameras can often be complicated, but this camera is so easy to operate that it is recommended even for first-time users. ☺️❗️
